Cities is a series of micro-architectures by designer Carlo Massoud. Inspired by his world travels, each piece is a reinterpretation of a global landmark - a structure with significant historical, architectural or cultural significance. This piece was inspired by the Franziskaner-Klosterkirche in Berlin, Germany. Built in the early Gothic style in 1250 as a monastery church for a Franciscan house, it was destroyed by the bombing of Berlin in World War II. Today it hosts exhibitions, plays and concerts. A meaningful sculpture that can also serve as a small holder. The artist's creativity is brought to life by experienced craftsmen in Ethnicraft's woodworking and woodcarving workshop.
Decorative object that can also hold smaller items if desired.
Made from espresso tainted mahogany with a water-based varnish finishes.
